INDIAN HEAD, Md. - Chief Warrant Officer 3 Ramon Perez (right) administers the oath of reenlistment to Sgt. Gary D. Garcia atop a 'pile' at the Raymond M. Downey Sr. Training Facility Feb. 24. The 'pile' is used by the Technical Rescue platoon Marines at the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) to help them train for extricating casualties from a collapsed structure. According to Garcia, leaving the Marine Corps would have been like "cheating the Marine Corps. I've learned so much that I can pass on to junior Marines," said the San Angelo, Texas native.
