Hammering down.MUSCATATUCK URBAN TRAINING CENTER, Ind. — A Marine assigned to the Chemical, Biological Incident Response Force uses a hammers wooden bracing together to support a collapsing building during a Vibrant Response 13 field training exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., July 29. The CBIRF unit was responsible for decontaminating, treating and evacuating displaced civilians in the collapsed building. During the simulated training exercise, the rescue technicians used high-powered tools and equipment to maneuver through the four levels of the infrastructure so they could safely evacuate civilians during the training venue.
